Explore the green side of Amsterdam and hire a (electric) bicycle at Outside Inn. You will receive a map with a beautiful route taking you through the countryside, past the rivers Amstel, Waver and Bullewijk. You can stop at the Rieker windmill, visit a traditional old dutch farm building, have a cheese tasting session and see how those wooden shoes are actually made. Whilst you are at it, why don’t you have a meal in Ouderkerk aan de Amstel. A place well known for its food.

The Outside Inn is a fantastic base to explore the Netherlands as there is a railway station, Duivendrecht only 750 mtr (less than ½ mile) away. From there you can be in the City of Utrecht, a Dutch city with a beautiful city centre, canals and the famous Dom tower within 30 minutes. Only 45 minutes away by train you can be in The Hague, the place where the Dutch government resides. If it is a beautiful sunny day or if you just want to get some fresh sea air, from Duivendrecht station you can travel to Zandvoort aan Zee within 50 minutes, the train stops 300 mtr (less than ¼ mile) from the beach.

Wherever you would like to go, whatever you want to see, at the Outside Inn Hotel we will try and help you get there.
