General
Do you only have rooms for two people?
All the rooms we have so far are for two people. Our rooms are small but nice. The Camping Pods have two single beds. If you have booked a beach house, please let us know if you want the beds separated or together. The other rooms have double beds. The beds in the Classic Fantastic rooms are slightly shorter. So if you are tall, it is best to choose another room. We have some rooms that have room for an extra bed. Would you like to know more about this? Please contact us.
Are there sanitary facilities in the rooms?
The rooms are not big enough for private bathroom facilities. Therefore, as in the real campground, we have shared bathroom facilities with enough toilets and showers in privacy booths. There are shampoo dispensers in the showers, toilet rolls in the toilets and a hair dryer.
Your stay
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Our reception is open from 08:00 to 22:00. You can check in from 15:00. The latest check-out time is 11:00 AM. Once checked in, you have a 24/7 access to the campsite with your key card.
Can I always enter the site at night?
When you check in, we give you a keycard that allows you to enter 24/7. Please note that after 23:00 it must be quiet on the campsite for people who want to sleep. After 23:00 you can chill in our VIP Lounge and continue talking, dancing and/or singing with your friends.
What time does the sun rise and set on the campsite?
The sun rises slowly around 9:00 (but your room has good curtains). In the evening the sun slowly sets again. From 23:00 it is quiet and dark on the campsite, so that people who want to sleep can do so. After 23:00 you can sit in our VIP Lounge and continue talking, dancing and/or singing with your friends.
Can I check in earlier or check out later?
Will you be arriving earlier or later? Please send us a message or give us a call. We possibly charge a fee if you check in before 15:00 or after 22:00. If you check in early and your room is already cleaned and ready, you can put your luggage and personal belongings in the room right away. If not, we will store them for you until your room is ready, so you can explore the city carefree. Late checkout (max 12:30 PM) is subject to availability, and costs €20,-. Please ask us about the options.
Are towels and bed linen included?
Certainly! We will make sure your bed is made and towels are provided. Would you like to get fresh towels during your stay? No problem, just let us know.
Are there lockers on the campsite?
It is important to us that you can store your valuables safely. With your keycard you have access to your own locker.
Do you offer laundry service?
It is possible to do your laundry with us. Ask at the front desk for the possibilities.
Accessibility
How do I get to Outside Inn?
The campground is accessible by car, bicycle, walking or public transportation. You can find directions on the route page. Click here for directions from Outside Inn to the center of Amsterdam.
What about parking?
Weekdays (Mon-Fri): Parking in Amsterdam is expensive, even at our doorstep (€5 per hour). Or take advantage of our special rate of only €15.00 per day.
Weekend (Fri 18:00 - Mon 9:00): Free parking right in front of the building.
Are pets allowed?
We love animals very much, but unfortunately, they are not allowed on the campsite.
Can I bring my kids?
Children are welcome from the age of 7, due to possible disturbance to our other guests.
Is the campsite wheelchair friendly?
Because the sanitary facilities are in the basement and there is no elevator in the building, our campsite unfortunately is not suitable for wheelchair users or people with mobility problems. Also, the steps to the caravans can sometimes be pretty high.
Food & beverages
Do you offer breakfast?
Start your day off right with our delicious breakfast! If you place your order before 7:30 p.m., your personalized breakfast will be waiting for you the next morning. For only €7.50 per person you will enjoy a croissant, an egg, yogurt, orange juice and a cup of coffee or tea. If you have a sweet tooth, add a muffin for only €1.75 extra per person!
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Absolutely! Do you have items that need to stay refrigerated? At our self-service bar, you'll find a guest refrigerator you can use. Our self-service bar is here to make your stay even easier. Fancy a drink, snack, coffee or ice cream? Help yourself at any time of the day or night! Just write down what you took, and we'll settle it neatly when you check out. Super simple and always available.
Is there a kitchen available?
We don't have a fully equipped kitchen, but we have a refrigerator, a microwave and plates and cutlery you can use.
Can I have food delivered?
Sure! Are you in the mood for something specific or want to enjoy a relaxing meal without cooking? Use services like UberEats or another delivery service. We are here to help you with your order or to make everything go smoothly. Enjoy!
